These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the StyleBite Staging website at stylebitestaging.com and any home staging services provided by StyleBite Staging (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Overview
StyleBite Staging provides professional home staging services throughout the Greater Toronto Area, including vacant home staging, occupied home staging, model home staging, and staging consultations. Full details about our service offerings are available on our website or upon request.
2. Use of the Website
2.1 Permitted Use
You may use the website to learn about our services, request quotes, view our portfolio, and contact us. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
2.2 Prohibited Conduct
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material
- Collect or harvest information from the website for unauthorized purposes
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify website content without our written permission
2.3 Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or free of errors. Portfolio images, service descriptions, and pricing information are subject to change without notice.
3. Quotes and Proposals
Quotes and proposals provided by StyleBite Staging are estimates based on the information available at the time of preparation. Final pricing may vary based on property conditions, scope changes, or other factors identified during the staging process. A quote does not constitute a binding agreement until a formal staging agreement is signed by both parties.
4. Staging Agreements
4.1 Formal Agreement Required
All staging projects require a signed staging agreement that outlines the scope of work, pricing, payment terms, timelines, and responsibilities of each party. These Terms supplement but do not replace the staging agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed staging agreement, the staging agreement will govern.
4.2 Deposits and Payments
A deposit is required upon signing the staging agreement to secure your staging date and begin inventory selection. Payment terms, including deposit amounts and remaining balance due dates, are specified in your staging agreement.
4.3 Cancellations
Cancellation terms, including any applicable fees, are outlined in your staging agreement. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 Property Readiness
For occupied staging projects, the property must be prepared according to the recommendations provided by StyleBite Staging before the staging date. This includes completing any necessary decluttering, cleaning, and furniture relocation as directed. If the property is not stage-ready upon arrival, the staging may need to be rescheduled, and additional fees may apply.
5.2 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about the property, including square footage, access requirements, and any conditions that may affect staging logistics or design.
5.3 Access and Scheduling
You are responsible for ensuring that our team has timely access to the property on the agreed staging and destaging dates.
6. StyleBite Staging Inventory
6.1 Ownership
All furniture, accessories, artwork, and other items provided by StyleBite Staging remain our property at all times. These items are placed in the property for staging purposes only and are not included in the sale of the home.
6.2 Care of Staging Items
You are responsible for the reasonable care of all staging items while they are in the property. This includes protecting items from damage, theft, or loss. You agree not to move, remove, rearrange, or use staging items beyond normal showing activity.
6.3 Damage or Loss
You are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any staging items that are damaged, lost, or stolen while in the property. Replacement costs will be based on the current value of the items.
6.4 Destaging
Once the property sells or the staging period ends as specified in your agreement, StyleBite Staging will schedule destaging to retrieve all items. You agree to provide access and ensure that all staging items are available for pickup in their original condition and placement.
7. Insurance
StyleBite Staging maintains full liability insurance for all staging projects. However, our insurance does not cover homeowner belongings, and we are not responsible for damage to personal items during staging or destaging unless caused by gross negligence on our part.
8. Photography and Portfolio Use
StyleBite Staging may photograph staged properties for use in our portfolio, website, social media accounts, and marketing materials. By engaging our services, you grant us permission to use images of the staged property for these purposes unless otherwise specified in your staging agreement.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Website Content

- StyleBite Staging is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or services.
- Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the total fees paid for the specific staging project in question.
- We are not liable for delays or failures in service delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather events, supply chain disruptions, labour shortages, or public health emergencies.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StyleBite Staging, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the website, or any dispute related to your property or real estate transaction that is not the result of our negligence.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or references to third-party services. We do not control or endorse these third parties and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
