Here are some of our favorite case studies on how home staging helped transform a space.

1. Staging a Basement

this 3+1 bedroom detached home is located in a lovely neighborhood in Richmond Hill with a great basement. We advised the owners to re-paint the basements brown walls in a neutral color, which made it look much bigger.

We also saw the potential to turn the basement into a

• Living room
• Home office
• The small nook in the corner of the basement into a cute and cozy play corner for kids

The Result?

2. Living room staging

This house in Scarborough is another great example of using space to its fullest. The client had a sectional sofa in their living room, which felt a little squeezed in and tricky to navigate around so, we moved the sectional sofa into another room.

The result?

Using our staging furniture, the original living room was turned into a bright inviting space for guests to walk into easily when they entered the house!

3. Wall Paint

This is another example in Scarborough where the seller couldn’t paint the walls to a neutral color. However, we carefully chose the furniture and artwork neutral, complementing the wall color.

The result?

This house was sold for $165 over the asking price in just 3 days!

4. No Windows? No Problem

Dens are usually small and either fit a bed or desk. But in this den in Toronto condo, we saw a potential to fit both without it looking crowded. So that’s what we did!

The result?

With some careful home staging, this den turned into a fully functional room, looked super fresh and bright–even though it has no windows.

5. A Cozy Fireside

Some houses have gorgeous features that need highlighting, so buyers notice them the moment they walk in. This beautiful vintage fireplace in a Vaughan home is a great example. After careful consideration, we decided to move the existing furniture so that the sofas face each other and the fireplace is center stage.

The result?

Some simple living room staging created a wonderfully warm and cozy look.

6. Let The Outside in

You are so lucky if you have floor-to-ceiling windows–especially ones that look out at a lovely view! It is tempting to leave a big window undressed, but a little framing with simple drapes and carefully positioned furniture can make all the difference.

The result?

We used our staging and decor skills to make this window an even lovlier feature!

7. Artistic Walls

We see potential in houses, even when there is something missing. One of our favorite challenges when occupied home staging is to improvise an art display that can be installed quickly and easily.
In this example, we decided to use this interesting collage of three art pieces, rather than the traditional use of one big frame.

The result?

We created a great focal point that everyone fell in love with!

8. Last but Not Least

We adore this recently renovated bungalow and we had the enviable task of enhancing the upgrades.
For example, our client asked for a cozy basement with a cool little TV corner, and we were so pleased to be able to achieve this.

The result?

This house was sold in 4 days for $325k over the asking price–just amazing!
